Diesel Mechanic - Muncy, PA Pay: $25-$28/hour Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM (Overtime Available on Fridays) Pay Frequency: Weekly Benefits: Full benefits package available Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Muncy, PA. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and mechanical systems in a fast-paced production and shop environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, experience working with hydraulic systems, and the ability to interpret technical specifications. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including troubleshooting mechanical issues Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel equipment and vehicles Work with hydraulic systems, tools, and specialized equipment Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Conduct quality checks to ensure all repairs meet safety and performance standards Assist with general shop duties and production support as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Support overtime needs as required (Fridays) Qualifications Prior experience as a diesel mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, or similar role Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and mechanical systems Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to stand, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milton, PA.
