Projects consist of retail fit-outs, relocations, and remodels. This job is part of the Project Management functionresponsible for the management of retail construction projects from initiationthrough completion. Role is remote but requires approximately 25% travel toclient sites nationally. What you'll do Manage all areas of project management for commercial realestate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, andcloseout. Interface directly with client s to prepare allproject elements, including the scope of work, project delivery resourcerequirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & landmarks,quality control, and risk identification. Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualifiedlists or through the project qualification process. Conduct a standard requestfor proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients. Implement project documentation governance that is alignedwith company and client requirements. Ensure project data integrity and documentation isaccurate, timely, and coordinated. Build action plans to meet objectives, budget, andschedule. Track the progress of each project and report status and variances. Demonstrate ability to identify project threats and developrisk mitigation and contingency plans. Implement plans to reduce or eliminateproject risks. Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles andtechniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovativesolutions. Mentor others and share knowledge of your job subject areaand have broad understanding of several job fields within the function. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistentwith CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values. Work to buildconsensus and convince others to reach an agreement. Impact a range of customer, operational, project, orservice activities within own team and other related teams. What you'll need Applicants must be currently authorized to work in theUnited States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred. Retail commercial real estate construction project management experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Smartsheet experience is beneficial. General knowledge of leases, contracts and construction practices and the ability to read architectural, mechanical and electrical drawings.
