Scholars Edge Painting Prince George is looking to add one painter to our team for the remainder of the 2026 painting season.
This is a seasonal position running through late September, with an immediate start available.
We're looking for someone who already has some painting, construction, or labour experience and can contribute to a professional residential painting crew without requiring extensive training.
Compensation:
-Piecework pay structure
-Earnings typically equivalent to $20$28/hour, based on experience, quality, and efficiency
-Consistent work available throughout the season
Responsibilities:
-Interior and exterior residential painting
-Surface preparation and masking
-Brush, roll, and spray work as required
-Jobsite setup and cleanup
-Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and professionalism
Requirements:
-Some painting, construction, renovation, or general labour experience
-Physically capable of working outdoors and on ladders
-Reliable transportation to job sites
-Strong work ethic and attention to detail
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ideal Candidate:
-15 years of painting or related experience
-Takes pride in producing quality work
-Reliable, coachable, and motivated
-Looking for a productive outdoor job through the remainder of the season
