P6 Scheduler - Mechanical ConstructionPosition OverviewThe P6 Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6 for mechanical construction projects. This role supports project teams by ensuring accurate planning, progress tracking, and reporting to help deliver projects on time and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesScheduling and PlanningDevelop detailed baseline schedules in Primavera P6 for mechanical construction projects including HVAC, piping, and plumbingBuild and maintain work breakdown structures and activity sequencing based on project scopeCoordinate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to establish logic, durations, and resource loadingIncorporate procurement, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning activities into project schedulesSchedule Maintenance and AnalysisUpdate schedules regularly based on field progress and project changesAnalyze critical path, float trends, and schedule variancesIdentify risks and opportunities that may affect project timelinesPerform scenario analysis and develop recovery or acceleration plansReporting and CommunicationGenerate weekly and monthly schedule reportsPresent schedule status and forecasts to internal teams and clientsProvide input for cost forecasting and earned value analysisSupport project meetings with clear schedule insightsProject Controls SupportAssist in change management by evaluating schedule impactsMaintain schedule documentation and audit trailsEnsure compliance with contract scheduling requirementsCoordinate with cost control and project controls teamsQualificationsEducationBachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferredEquivalent experience may be consideredExperience3+ years of scheduling experience in construction or mechanical contractingProven experience using Primavera P6Experience with mechanical systems such as HVAC, piping, and plumbingSkills and CompetenciesAdvanced knowledge of Primavera P6Strong understanding of construction sequencingFamiliarity with CPM schedulingAbility to interpret construction drawings and specificationsStrong analytical and communication skillsBenefitsCompetitive Pay:Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife Insurance401(k)Paid Time OffPaid HolidaysCar Allowance
