GameTime is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Project Designer to join our Design
Service Group. The Project Designer will be responsible for developing innovative
recreation-based site designs and presentation materials that support client vision, project
goals, and company standards.
Project Designers will produce 2D site layouts, create high-quality 3D visualizations using
the latest design software, and participate in client meetings and project coordination
activities as needed.
In this position, Designers will work on a range of projects, varying in scope and scale,
including play spaces, parks and other recreational facilities. The Project Designer will have
the opportunity to collaborate with a range of professionals across multiple design
disciplines, from product development to on-site construction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Become knowledgeable of product lines and intended functions to create
innovative and compelling site layouts.
2. Prepare 2D site layouts, with supporting documentation that meet industry
compliant standards (ASTM, ADA, CPSC).
3. Create 3D visualizations and presentation materials that accurately and creatively
communicate design intent and experience.
4. Analyze and interpret constructions drawings, surveys, topographic maps and
other project related documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
5. Effectively communicate, verbally and visually, project details with design team
members and client / end users.
6. Collaboratively work with design team members both internally and externally to
ensure creative design solutions are delivered in a timely way and meet project
financial and functional goals.
7. Contribute to the organization and management of project activities and materials.
Position Requirements
1. Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suit (Photoshop, Illustrator,
InDesign), Lumion, Sketchup, and other software tools useful to the generation of
accurate representations of design elements.
2. Working knowledge of construction drawings, topographic mapping and other
related documentation for site layouts.
3. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
4. Strong organizational and communication skills.
5. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects at one time.
6. Create and follow design instructions from initial concept to final product.
7. Additional project and organizational related duties as needed.
8. A digital portfolio that demonstrates design strengths and abilities
Education and/or Experience
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a design related field to include Landscape
Architecture, Landscape Design, Architectural Design, Interior Design, or applicants
with 5+ years of direct experience in the playground design industry are preferred.
• Working experience in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Interior Design,
Playground industry, or related design field is preferred.
Travel
Travel will be at a minimal with occasional trips to project sites and manufacturing facility.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to write routine reports and
correspondence as well as be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or
employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability
Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid
conclusions.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Excel, Word,
PowerPoint, AutoCad, Sketchup, Lumion, and Adobe Suite Software.
Other Skills
The ability to Speak and translate Spanish would be preferred.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet, except in the manufacturing
environment where PPE may be required.
