Project Architect Retail

A nationally recognized design firm is seeking a licensed Project Architect to join its Retail Studio in Orlando, FL. This role is ideal for a collaborative leader who is passionate about design excellence, client service, and mentoring teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and coordinate with engineering disciplines.
• Manage client relationships and support account growth.
• Oversee QA/QC processes, construction documentation review, and document sealing.
• Coordinate consultants and construction administration activities.
• Manage multiple retail projects simultaneously.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Ensure projects meet design, code, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Licensed Architect required.
• 10+ years of architectural experience.
• Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, building codes, and exterior envelope systems.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to sustainable design and high-performance projects.
• Experience with retail, commercial, mixed-use, or large-scale development projects preferred.
