Electrical Mechanic

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Mechanic for a direct hire opportunity in Greenville, SC. This role is ideal for a dependable, hands-on professional with strong industrial and commercial electrical/mechanical experience who can work independently in the field with minimal supervision.

The Electrical Mechanic will perform troubleshooting, installation, repair, and maintenance work across commercial and industrial environments. This is a strong opportunity for a self-starter who enjoys field service work, takes ownership of jobsite responsibilities, and is comfortable representing the company professionally while operating a company vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform industrial and commercial electrical/mechanical work in the field.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, equipment, controls, and related mechanical components.
- Complete installations, repairs, preventative maintenance, and service work with minimal oversight.
- Independently assess jobsite conditions and determine appropriate next steps.
- Operate a company vehicle safely and professionally while traveling to job locations.
- Occasionally work alongside or provide guidance to an apprentice or helper on-site.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $55,000 to $75,000 per year.
- Location: Greenville, SC.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Perform commercial and industrial electrical/mechanical service, repair, and installation work.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, equipment, and field service issues.
- Assess jobsite conditions independently and determine next steps.
- Complete maintenance and repair work while representing the company professionally in the field.

- 5 to 8 years of relevant industrial and commercial electrical/mechanical experience preferred.
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting, diagnostics, and field service experience.
- Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work independently without constant direction.
- Clean drivers license required.
- Must be trustworthy and responsible when operating a company vehicle.
- Safety-minded with professional communication skills.
- Stable work history preferred.
- Reliable, accountable, motivated, and able to take ownership of assigned work.
- Comfortable occasionally guiding or working alongside an apprentice or helper.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in industrial maintenance, commercial electrical service, manufacturing facilities, plant maintenance, or field service environments.
- Experience working independently from a service truck or company vehicle.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance, electrical diagnostics, blueprints, schematics, and industrial controls.
- PLC exposure is a plus.
- Demonstrated history of long-term employment and consistent reliability.
