A well-established electrical contractor specializing in commercial, industrial, public sector, and government projects throughout New Jersey is experiencing continued growth, increased bid volume, and expansion. As a result, we are looking to add an experienced Electrical Construction Estimator to support our growing estimating team.

This is a long-term opportunity with a stable company that handles a strong pipeline of prevailing wage and government work, including large-scale public infrastructure and Army Corps-style projects.

What Youll Do
Review bid opportunities, drawings, and specifications
Perform detailed electrical takeoffs and full cost estimates
Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed
Solicit, review, and level subcontractor/vendor quotes
Work closely with Project Managers on constructability and scope
Support change orders and post-award project handoff
Participate in bid strategy and project selection discussions

Must-Have Experience
Electrical estimating experience in commercial and/or industrial construction
Experience with prevailing wage and public/government projects
Ability to work through spec-heavy bid packages and drawings
Strong attention to detail and organized estimating approach
Accubid experience preferred
Bluebeam familiarity is a plus
Knowledge of NJ construction/labor requirements strongly preferred
