What youll do
Perform service and preventative maintenance on all equipment within the D.C. procedures
Maintain safety standards of equipment and work area, while performing all duties in a safe manner in accordance with safety policies
Respond to all equipment breakdowns in a timely manner based on priority systems
Maintain parts and work records on computerized maintenance system (CMMS)
Perform repairs with minimal supervision, taking responsibility and decision making to oversee that the job is complete within time demands
Provide information on equipment/system problems see job to completion within time demands
Support cross-functional repairs to equipment that includes electrical and mechanical
Department support for testing, repairing, and calibrating electric or electronic components
Maintain continuity among team by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair automation, conveyers, material handling equipment, bar code scanners, electrical, lubrication systems, pneumatic, hydraulic equipment, and all other related devices to maintain production
Evaluate and improve our processes for uptime and repeatability
Evaluate downtime situations for root cause and identify potential risks to similar processes
Services, maintains, repairs and tests new or existing equipment and verifies conformance
Demonstrate flexibility when tasks are re-assigned or altered
Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine layout of industrial equipment installations
What you bring
Ontario Certificate of Qualification as Industrial Millwright (certificate required)
Rated skills/experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, automation, HMI, VFD and PLC programming and control systems
Must Licensed Industrial Millwright or Licensed Industrial Mechanic
Possess organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated machinery repair, overhaul and troubleshooting skills with material handling equipment - (e.g., Conveyors, Sorters, Spirals, MSRS, ASRS, Scanners etc.)
Demonstrates excellent job task planning/organizing skills
Ability to perform various computer functions (Microsoft Office, CMMS, Excel, etc.)
Able to prepare, read and interpret written reports, procedures and guidelines
Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
Able to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines; able to work flexible hours and weekend overtime to meet department requirements
Machine shop experience CNC, lathe, Milling and tool room equipment

Broadband Hourly Range: $ 36.00 - 46.50 CAD.
Our typical hiring range is between $ 36.00 - 46.50 CAD. Hourly decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements (including applicable certifications, licenses and/or accreditations for example Red Seal).
