Diverse Technology Industrial Inc. is actively seeking experienced, high-level Estimators to join our growing national team.
DTI specializes in:
Polished Concrete
Epoxy & Resinous Flooring Systems
Urethane Cement Systems
Concrete Restoration
Joint Repair
Industrial & Commercial Flooring Solutions
We are not looking for entry-level candidates.
We are looking for seasoned professionals who understand the flooring/construction industry, can manage deadlines, think critically, communicate professionally, and produce accurate, profitable estimates.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
Perform quantity takeoffs and detailed scope reviews
Prepare accurate pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
Understand polished concrete, epoxy coatings, urethane cement systems, concrete repairs, and surface prep scopes
Coordinate with operations, sales, and project management teams
Manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
Follow up with General Contractors, Owners, and National Accounts
Attend project walkthroughs and pre-bid meetings when required
Build and maintain relationships with clients and vendors
Utilize estimating software, takeoff platforms, and CRM systems
Assist in value engineering and scope clarifications
Maintain organized bid files and project documentation
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5+ years estimating experience in commercial construction or industrial flooring
Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
Experience with polished concrete and resinous flooring systems preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated, disciplined, and detail-oriented
Experience with BuildingConnected, PlanHub, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar platforms preferred
