Qualified Laborer

Seeking a qualified Laborer to support construction and demolition activities on a HUD-funded project. The successful candidate will have completed an approved apprenticeship program and possess experience in soft demolition, concrete saw cutting, site preparation, material handling, and general construction labor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform soft demolition of interior building components, including drywall, flooring, ceilings, and fixtures.
Operate saw-cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and debris removal.
Follow all OSHA safety requirements and company safety policies.
Work collaboratively with supervisors and crew members to complete project tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from a recognized apprenticeship program.
Experience performing soft demolition and saw cutting.
Ability to lift and carry construction materials and work in physically demanding conditions.
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
OSHA 10 certification preferred.

Section 3 Preference:

This position is being offered in connection with a HUD-funded project. Consistent with HUD Section 3 requirements, preference may be given to Section 3 Workers and Targeted Section 3 Workers. Low-income and very low-income people, public housing residents, Housing Choice Voucher participants, and individuals living within the service area of the project are encouraged to apply.
