Trade Management is currently seeking experienced Carpenters and a Lead Carpenter to support multiple active school construction projects for one of our valued construction partners in Central Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled craftsmen looking for steady work on educational facility projects with the potential for overtime.

Pay Range:
- Carpenter: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday - Friday
7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Overtime may be available based on project demands

Position Overview
We are seeking 1-2 Carpenters, including one Lead Carpenter, to support ongoing construction activities across multiple school projects in Central Texas. Qualified candidates must be willing to travel between project sites as needed and have experience performing commercial carpentry work in active construction environments.
The Lead Carpenter will provide daily direction to laborers and assist with coordinating field activities while maintaining production, quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform framing and general carpentry work
Build and install temporary walls and barriers
Assist with renovation and construction activities
Read and interpret blueprints and project drawings
Measure, cut, and install construction materials accurately
Maintain clean and safe work areas
Follow all project-specific safety requirements
Coordinate and oversee laborers (Lead Carpenter position)
Communicate effectively with supervisors and project personnel
Work efficiently across multiple project locations as needed
Requirements
Minimum 3+ years of commercial carpentry experience preferred
Experience with framing, layout, and general carpentry
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Reliable transportation and ability to travel between project sites
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Leadership experience preferred for Lead Carpenter role
OSHA 10 certification is a plus
Background Screening Requirements
Must be eligible to pass the client's project-specific background screening
No felony convictions involving violent crimes, crimes against children, or other offenses that would prohibit access to school campuses
Must be able to work in active K-12 school environments
Must maintain professional conduct and appearance while on school property
