Sheet Metal Estimator - Commercial Mechanical Projects

Location: Fort Worth, TX

We're looking for a driven Sheet Metal Estimator to support large-scale commercial mechanical projects from concept through award. This role is critical to building accurate, competitive bids and partnering with operations to win and deliver high-value work.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare detailed takeoffs and cost estimates for sheet metal systems (ductwork, HVAC, specialty systems) on complex commercial projects
• Analyze drawings, specs, and addenda to identify scope, risks, and value engineering opportunities
• Solicit and level subcontractor/vendor quotes; build strong supplier relationships
• Develop pricing strategies aligned with project goals and market conditions
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and preconstruction teams to ensure scope clarity and smooth handoffs
• Maintain estimate documentation, assumptions, and historical cost data

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial mechanical/sheet metal projects
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, duct fabrication/installation, and industry standards
• Proficiency with estimating software and takeoff tools (e.g., Bluebeam, OST, Trimble, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents with precision
• Sharp analytical skills and attention to detail-no gaps, no surprises
• Clear communication and a team-first mindset
