Job Title: Construction Carpenter Commercial and Agricultural Buildings
Job Description
This role focuses on constructing commercial and agricultural buildings, including concrete work and steel structure erection. You will work with a team to set up forms and rebar for concrete pours and assemble steel buildings using basic hand and power tools. The position offers hands-on, physically active work in a variety of building projects within a defined regional area.
Responsibilities
Build commercial and agricultural structures from start to finish, following project plans and specifications.
Set up and install concrete forms and rebar in preparation for concrete pours.
Perform concrete flatwork, walls, and finishing tasks as needed on job sites.
Assemble and erect steel buildings using basic construction tools and equipment.
Use carpentry skills to measure, cut, and install building components safely and accurately.
Support general construction and manual labor tasks such as material handling, site preparation, and cleanup.
Work effectively as part of a field crew to complete projects within established timelines.
Follow all safety procedures and use tools and equipment properly in outdoor and indoor environments.
Adapt to changing tasks and priorities based on project needs and site conditions.
Essential Skills
At least 6+ months of specific carpentry experience in a construction setting.
At least 6+ months of manual labor experience (such as landscape, concrete, or carpentry work).
At least 6+ months of commercial building experience.
Ability to use basic construction tools, including hand tools and power tools, safely and effectively.
Capability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, bending, and working on your feet for extended periods.
Comfort working on construction sites for commercial and agricultural projects.
Reliability and willingness to work in varying tasks related to farm, construction, and carpentry work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1+ years of steel carpentry experience, including steel erection, is a strong plus.
Experience with concrete flatwork, walls, and stamped concrete is beneficial.
Ability to read and follow basic construction directions and instructions.
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills on active job sites.

Work Environment

The workday is physically demanding and involves standing, lifting, and using basic construction tools and equipment throughout the shift. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
