As a Welder, your responsibilities will be.

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Welder (TIG/MIG) to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform precision welding on both production units and prototype components, working with specialized materials such as stainless steel, precious metals, and semi-precious metals. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals experienced in high-quality welding, automated welding systems, and fabrication processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform TIG and MIG welding operations on production parts and custom prototype components.
• Weld complex materials including stainless steel, precious metals, and specialty alloys.
• Operate and monitor automated and programmed welding machines for high-efficiency production.
• Support high-volume manufacturing by assisting machine welding operators as needed.
• Ensure all welds meet industry quality standards, including passing destructive and non-destructive testing (NDT).
• Maintain required welding certifications and qualifications in compliance with product specifications.
• Set up fixtures, jigs, and layouts for both production and prototype builds.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team and perform general shop and fabrication support tasks.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in TIG welding and/or MIG welding.
• Hands-on experience working with stainless steel, precious metals, or complex materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
• Strong understanding of welding quality standards, inspection methods, and testing procedures.
• Experience with robotic, automated, or programmable welding equipment is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control and precision welding.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Knowledge of advanced welding techniques and fabrication processes
• Experience in prototype development or custom manufacturing environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced production setting

Location: Mansfield, OH 44906

Duration: 3 months

Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay Range: $25.00/hr. to $27.94/hr.
