- Work Mode: Hybrid - Mon, Tues, Thurs in office / Weds, Fri at home
- Design large horsepower (10,000 to 30,000 Company) turbine and electrical motor-driven centrifugal compressor stations.
- Oversee the development of project scope, schedule, capital cost estimate, execution planning, risks, and supporting information for assigned facility projects.
- Ensure all facilities comply with regulations, industry codes, and corporate standards.
- Manage the execution of design deliverables by third-party engineering firms against the project budget and schedule.
- Review and approve design deliverables such as drawings, technical reports, and material listing sheets.
- Review vendor materials quotations, prepare technical evaluations, and recommend selections based on technical merit, price, and delivery.
- Provide technical support during the construction and commissioning phases of the project.
- Review lessons learned from past projects and incorporate recommendations into future designs.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers within the team.
- Support and/or lead department initiatives as required.
- Ensure development project scope definitions comply with regulatory, environmental, health, and safety requirements through effective management and coordination of internal functional groups.
- BSME Engineering degree.
- 7 years of progressively responsible experience in engineering and project management.
- PE designation.
- Demonstrated ability to be innovative, initiate, and manage change.
- Capable of working independently, managing multiple projects, and prioritizing tasks accordingly.
- Ability to resolve complex issues based on depth and breadth of technical and business knowledge.
- Awareness of interrelationships with other stakeholders both internal and external to the project team.
- Effectively communicate technical issues and impacts to other technical and non-technical staff.
