Handyman / Drywall Technician
Professional Renovation Services is a growing restoration and reconstruction company seeking a skilled Handyman / Drywall Technician to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual who takes pride in quality workmanship and has experience performing drywall repairs, finish work, painting, and general construction tasks.
Position Responsibilities
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
* Perform drywall repairs ranging from small patches to larger wall and ceiling repairs.
* Hang, tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall.
* Apply and match various wall and ceiling textures.
* Perform Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 drywall finishing.
* Install and repair baseboards, casing, trim, and other finish carpentry items.
* Set and install cabinets and vanities.
* Perform interior painting, touch-ups, and finish painting.
* Complete minor carpentry repairs and general handyman tasks.
* Maintain clean and organized job sites.
* Follow company safety policies and procedures.
* Communicate effectively with Project Managers and customers.
* Accurately document completed work and material usage.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years of experience in drywall repair and finishing preferred.
* Experience matching existing textures is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of painting, trim work, cabinet installation, and general construction repairs.
* Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the day.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $20.00 $25.00 per hour DOE
