Government and Private Estimating
Continually searching bids on sites such as BidNet, Construction Journal, BuildingConnected, and other websites of municipalities to find other less publicized jobs
Network with General Contractors to solicit bid opportunities in the Coverage Area that may not be widely publicized
Review bid opportunities and advise on the selection of bids to pursue with input/approval from sales and estimation leadership to meet the needed volume of bid opportunities to meet/exceed annual targeted sales revenue
Understand and manage to the process and timelines to ensure all conditions, requirements, schedules, submittals, and deadlines are met
Be the point person and primary contact for all matters related to bid opportunities
Attend all pertinent pre-bid meetings/calls and site walks in support of your bids, or coordinate with Business Developers to do so for their jobs
Review RFPS/RFQs to determine scope of work and bid submittal requirements
Review contract terms for acceptable conditions
Analyze and comprehend project plans, drawing, specifications, local building codes and details
Building the estimate independently or with assistance of other estimating team members
Evaluate subcontractor bids to bid documents and plans to ensure that the full scope of work was considered. If pertinent documents are needed, work within the Dynamic ecosystem to find or create the proper documentation
Manage bid pricing from all vendors related to projects being bid to develop accurate and complete estimates
Work with the bonding agency to ensure that bonds are sufficient
Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors, subcontractors and clients
Production Estimating
Analyze Eagle views and specifications to determine scale of project for residential, multi-family and commercial flat roof projects
Perform accurate measurements in the field of the project to properly determine material and labor needs
Ensure we are compliant with local building requirements and municipality business codes
Understand contractual terms and conditions and the process of insurance-funded projects
Maintain relationships with sub-contractors and clients
Assemble accurate and well-organized estimates and proposals in a timely manner
Organize sub-contractor's quotations and negotiate to ensure quotes meet contract margin requirements
Coordinate the analysis of project margins with Controller and finalize cost build up prior to final contract being developed
Monitor progress, requisition change orders and identify potential risks
Ensure site personnel are provided with proper documentation related to project
Provide and maintain unit pricing and database for material and labor costing
Formulate cost break down from estimates and for project progress
Meet with potential clients to discuss options for proposed services

Prepare Project Recap Summary Reports
Coordinate and supervise all phases of the projects
Manage projects to stay within the scope and budget
Oversee all phases of the construction process from pre-production to completion of all trades
Provide updates to customer and Dynamic team members on status of projects
Order all materials and ensure the proper materials are on-site.
Perform post-build walk with customer to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to Dynamic standards
Attend periodic training and meetings to ensure up-to-date knowledge necessary to complete work and provide personal development opportunities
