I. POSITION OBJECTIVEThe purpose of this position is to provide piping engineering support for daily operations and assigned EG engineering activities during the design, construction, pre-commissioning, and startup phases of improvement projects. This position is responsible for executing piping engineering activities, including piping and equipment layout design, 3D modeling, piping isometric drawings, stress analysis, and related engineering deliverables.The role ensures engineering deliverables are accurate, efficient, and compliant with FPC specifications, applicable design codes, industry standards, company policies, and OSHA requirements. In addition, the position collaborates with cross-functional groups to support project cost, schedule, and quality objectives while providing technical engineering support throughout construction and project execution activities.

II. MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITYProject Coordination and Execution: Serve as PIC coordinator for improvement and expansion projects by collecting and evaluating engineering data, specifications, drawings, and operational input. Coordinate project activities with all related PICs and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.Budget, Schedule, and Procurement Management: Estimate, coordinate, and manage B-2 project budgets and schedules within approved scope requirements. Prepare purchasing requisitions, review vendor drawings and quotations, and support procurement activities to ensure timely project completion.Engineering Design and Technical Support: Perform piping design work, develop ISOs and 3D models, and provide technical support for bid package development and project execution activities. Apply engineering knowledge and technical expertise to achieve project goals.Problem Solving and Quality Assurance: Identify and resolve technical issues, design errors, and potential field interferences involving existing piping, equipment, and structures to minimize construction delays, rework, and project impacts.Leadership and Team Development: Provide technical guidance, coaching, and leadership to team members to support professional development, knowledge sharing, and overall team performance improvement.THM: Promote cleanliness and order through the implementation of the Total House Keeping Maintenance program. Emphasize Nothing Touch Ground program and No Visual Pollution program. Maintain the plant in like new condition.

III. QUALIFICATIONS

Education

BS Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering required; other engineering disciplines from ABET-accredited universities may be considered. A BS Engineering degree related to Piping Design is preferred.

Previous Related Experience Required

No prior experience is required but 1 ~ 2 years of experience in piping improvement and/or project execution/management of petrochemical industries is preferred.

Technical Skills Required to Perform This Job

Familiar with engineering standards, such as ASME, ANSI, API, FPC Project, and piping design-related documentsComputer skills, including but not limited to MS Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.Familiar with general piping, engineering standards and industrial requirements.Knowledge of corporate "workflow" system, department responsibilities, and maintenance procedures preferred.Familiar with piping design utilizing 2D or 3D software's.
