Our client is seeking a Facilities Project Manager. This role supports facilities initiatives through construction management, architectural coordination, and code compliance. The Facilities Project Manager oversees renovation, infrastructure, and equipment installation projects that support evolving business needs. Projects range from small upgrades to large capital improvements across multiple sites. This position is highly customer-focused and driven by metrics, continuous improvement, and cost efficiency. The role operates in a fast-paced environment supporting both internal and external stakeholders.

Job Title: Facilities Project Manager
Location (Locals Only): Rochester, NY (onsite required with some local travel)
Hourly & Salary Range: $47-57/hr W2, $110-120k once converted
Duration: Contract (4 months) to Hire

Whats the Job?

  • Manage multiple facilities projects from requirements evaluation through project closeout.
  • Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal teams to meet schedule, budget, and quality goals.
  • Oversee design, construction, and compliance for architectural, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Support capital and expense budget planning and cost improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with Facilities Maintenance and Operations teams.

Whats Needed?

  • 10-15+ years of hands-on project management experience with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build project delivery methods.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MS Project, and estimating software.
  • Ability to work onsite and travel up to 30% as needed.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
