Job DescriptionJob Description
We are partnering with a leading general contractor to support a large-scale data center project in Missouri and are seeking a Superintendent to join their field leadership team. This is a high-impact opportunity to work on a mission-critical project with a company known for delivering complex builds across the country.
This role is ideal for someone early in their superintendent career who wants exposure to large, fast-paced construction environments while working alongside experienced senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate trade contractors and daily field operations to support project schedules, budgets, and execution plansReview and ensure work aligns with contract documents, drawings, and specificationsMonitor ongoing work to ensure compliance with approved plans and quality standardsMaintain accurate daily reports, safety documentation, and project recordsSupport jobsite safety efforts, including orientations, audits, and enforcement of safety policiesParticipate in project meetings to drive coordination and communication across teamsTrack production, labor hours, and productivity; report and address variancesAssist with workforce planning, material procurement, and site logisticsSupport cost tracking, forecasting, and overall field operationsBuild strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, and field teamsAssist with onboarding, training, and field-level issue resolutionSupport sustainability and environmental compliance initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field0-5 years of experience in a superintendent or field leadership roleOSHA 30 Certification requiredExperience on large commercial or mission-critical projects (data center experience is a plus)
Skills & Attributes
Strong communication and technical understanding of construction processesAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environmentKnowledge of construction documents, scheduling, and cost controlExperience working with both union and non-union labor environmentsProficient in Microsoft Office and construction management softwareHighly organized with strong attention to detailCommitment to maintaining a safety-first culture and zero-injury mindset
