To install heating and air conditioning systems to company standards providing the customer with a high quality experience.
Required Qualifications / Achievements:
Valid driver's licenseInsurable driving recordDemonstrate willingness to invest in tools used in the service and installation of HVAC equipmentDemonstrate willingness to invest time in training seminars and classesWork from 28' extension ladder and 12' step ladderAbility to operate power and hand tools safelyAbility to follow written and verbal directions as givenDemonstrate commitment to developing customer service skillsEPA certificationOSHA 10Complete installation of branch runs and central trunk in new construction or retro-fit applicationsKnowledge and ability to size trunk based on correct capacity and CFMsAble to run & braise a line set with nitrogen and pressure testingSheet Metal Fabrication - at least 2 sided offset and return box and dropAble to install and terminate exhaust fans per local codeAble to run low voltage wiringAble to seal duct workLocate supply and return runs per layout on plansWork well with other sub contractors and co-workersCut & drill holesFill out paperwork in a neat, accurate, complete mannerInstallation & Insulation of duct work
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Install and Commission Complete HVAC Systems and Accessories including humidifiers, thermostats, IAQ productsMaintain PEU's for LicenseKeep the installation vehicles neat, clean, properly stocked and organized.Complete your training and skill development programs as directed by the GMParticipate in Company meetings, safety and training meetings and participate in company planning as requested. Less than 10% Install Call Backs within 1 Year of InstallationTimely completion of install commissioning form and tablet workDevelopment and Training Plan of ApprenticesArrive at jobsite at scheduled time and location as dispatchedRelocate from one jobsite to another jobsite as dispatched during the workdayOperate company vehicle as neededFollow instructions from supervisor and/or dispatcher and carry out in timely mannerReport problems with company tools or vehicle promptlyAbility to work staggered schedule if requiredMaintain professional appearance and attitude at all timesInform and educate customers on additional products or services available through companyInform customer of replacement options following company guidelinesDemonstrate knowledge of service tools and testing devices, soldering skills, customer service skills, electrical and refrigeration principles.Perform filter changes utilizing filter checklist paperwork unassistedProperly set, install, and commission residential HVAC equipmentMinor Sheet Metal FabricationOther duties as assignedProvide all customers with new / renewal service agreement information

While preforming the duties of this position, the employee is required to walk, stoop, balance on feet, talk, hear, squat, climb, reach about their head and drive a company vehicle. They will use their hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing 50-100lbs. Use of visions abilities include, close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
Work Environment:
While preforming the duties of this position, the employee is exposed to weather conditions at that time. They may be required to be in confined spaces for short periods of time.
