What You'll Do:

Craft Shop Drawings: Produce and provide detailed shop drawings for projects, ensuring every detail is spot-on for fabrication.Measure with Precision: Collect field-verified dimensions to guarantee accuracy from start to finish.Drive Fabrication: Prepare take-offs, cutsheets, and help process work to keep our shop humming.Draft with Purpose: Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, our go-to tool, to bring designs to life.Engineer Solutions: Collaborate closely with our team to plan and refine the engineering of custom products at the drafting stage.Explore New Tools: Leverage our seats in SketchUp or Inventoror bring your own software ideas to the table (we're open to innovation!).Research & Innovate: Investigate potential materials and devices on a project to project basis.Grow Your Impact: Hone your skills and take on increasing responsibility, with the potential to lead projects down the road.

What You Bring:

Attention to Detail: A sharp eye that catches every line, measurement, and specdeadline and detail-oriented to the core.3D Vision: Strong visual and spatial thinking to design products that work in the real world.Tech Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting is a must); bonus points for experience with AutoCAD 3D, SketchUp, Inventor, or similar tools.Architectural Interpretation: Ability to read architectural construction drawings and documents.Math & Measurement: Skill in reading and gathering dimensions, plus basic arithmetic to keep everything accurate.Team Spirit: A collaborative mindset and eagerness to work with our craftsmen and project managers.Growth Mindset: Ambition to evolve from drafting into project management and aim for continuous improvement.
