We provide on-demand, scheduled, and historical aerial data and analytics from sensors deployed to the stratosphere with persistent coverage, higher resolution, and increased value over traditional aerial and space imagery sources. Job Description At World View we are growing our team and are looking for a Mechanical Technician. In this role you will work on a variety of steps in the production of stratolite systems including wiring harnesses, metal fabrication, component installation, and more. This is a hands on role. Role Responsibilities · Running wiring harnesses · Production of solar arrays · Basic metal fabrication · Assembly and installation of components · Diagnose product problems and communicate symptoms to leads · Provide quality verification during production through final product · Provide technical support for payload integration or flight operation · Other duties as needed Qualifications · Minimum 3 years' experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields · Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment · Ability to handle physical workload · Ability to work well in teams · Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment · Knowledge of and experience with Foreign Object Damage (FOD) environments · Proficiency in the safe use of measuring instruments · Ability to interpret engineering drawings · Ability to follow procedures and work instructions · Demonstrated self-initiative in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision · Ability to create checklists, procedures, and written instructions What We Offer You will join a global, supportive, and growing team with direct exposure to a passionate and innovative CEO and our most critical decisions.
