Job Description:

Do you have great welding skills and love working with metal? We are looking for a MIG Welder to join our team!

In this job, you will help fix and build heavy mining equipment. Mining machines are huge and work in tough conditions, so they break and wear down. Your job will be to use MIG welding to make strong repairs that keep our machines safe and moving.

Responsibilities:

• MIG Welding: You will use MIG welding tools to join metal pieces together on large mining machines.
• Fix and Rebuild: You will fix cracks in giant truck beds, repair digger buckets, and strengthen worn-out parts.
• Read Blueprints: You will look at simple drawings and blueprints to understand how to weld parts correctly.
• Prep the Metal: You will use grinders and torches to clean and prepare metal before you start welding.
• Stay Safe: You will always wear your welding helmet and safety gear. Keeping yourself and your team safe is the number one rule.

Education: Professional Certificate

• Welding Certificate

Experience: 36 months

Physical:

• Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs),Heavy Lifting (50+ lbs),Standing / Walking,Bending / Stooping / Kneeling

Skills:

• Welding Skills: You know how to do MIG welding. If you have a welding certificate or went to trade school, that is a big plus!,Experience: Some experience welding heavy steel or working in a shop is preferred.,Good Attitude: You show up on time, work hard, and enjoy working with a team.,Safety First: You follow safety rules carefully every single day.,Requirements: You must have a driver's license and be able to pass a drug test and physical health check.
