Forensic Structural Engineer

About the Role

This position is ideal for engineers who are looking to deepen or transition into forensic work. You ll evaluate structural damage, determine root causes, and produce high-quality technical reports that stand up to scrutiny.

The work is dynamic balancing field investigations and site visits with focused analysis and report writing. Flexibility, curiosity, and responsiveness are key.

• Bachelor s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (ABET-accredited)
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Minnesota (or ability to obtain via reciprocity)
• 2+ years of forensic or related structural engineering experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities
• Willingness to travel and perform fieldwork, including roof inspections and confined space environments
