TIG WELDER

An industry leader in the design, manufacturing and distribution of custom stainless-steel equipment for the food service, Plumbing and materials handling industry is looking for experienced TIG welders responsible for fitting and welding of stainless steel parts using TIG process.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
oSet up welding machines
oRead and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements
oFit and TIG weld stainless steel components based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings
oInsure work conforms to prints and quality requirements.
oFollow production plans and required daily output requirements.
oAssists with material cutting and preparation as needed. Including sawing, grinding and deburring.
oKeep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities
oProvide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
oFollow all safety rules and quality standards
oWork together with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
oHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred
oOne-year related experience and/or training through a certified training facility.
oExperience with stainless steel TIG welding required
oAbility to lift up to 50 pounds independently.
omust be able to stand, kneel, stoop.
oAbility to identify and measure material types and thicknesses
oAbility to produce quality products consistently
oAbility to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form
oMust be reliable with a strong work ethic
