Landscaping Laborer

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our outdoor maintenance team. This role involves working on various landscaping projects, ensuring the aesthetic and functional quality of residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn new skills related to landscape maintenance and construction.

Duties

Assist with lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming using hand tools and power tools
Perform landscape maintenance such as planting, mulching, pruning, and tree care
Maintain hardscape features including patios, walkways, and retaining walls
Use hand tools and power tools safely for installation and repair tasks
Support construction activities related to landscape projects, including site preparation and cleanup
Conduct gardening tasks like planting flowers, shrubs, and trees with attention to detail
Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal operation
Qualifications

Previous experience or knowledge in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is required
Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for operating and maintaining landscaping equipment
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems is a plus
Experience in tree trimming, mowing, hardscape installation, or horticulture is beneficial
Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions
Strong attention to safety procedures when handling equipment and tools
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Valid drivers license is required
