Our client, a leading organization in the telecommunications and low-voltage construction industry, is seeking a Telecom Estimator to join their team. As a Telecom Estimator, you will be part of the estimating department supporting federal, state, local, and commercial telecommunications bids. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Support the estimating lifecycle for telecommunications and low-voltage RFPs.
  • Assist with digital quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam and related platforms.
  • Gather, organize, and compare vendor and subcontractor pricing.
  • Prepare estimate backup documentation, BOQs/BOMs, and bid summaries.
  • Maintain estimate logs, bid calendars, and organized digital files.

What's Needed?

  • 13 years of experience in construction, estimating, project coordination, or a related office role.
  • Exposure or strong interest in telecommunications, low-voltage, or construction estimating.
  • Willingness to learn technical drawings, scopes, and estimating tools.
  • Tech-savvy; comfortable using AI tools and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong organizational discipline and documentation habits.
