Job Title: General Laborer Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Industrial Labor Supervisor to lead and work alongside general labor crews on industrial cleaning and maintenance projects. This role involves performing physical work, enforcing schedules, assigning tasks, ensuring safety and compliance, and managing attendance and discipline as needed. The position requires a strong leader who leads from the front, holds employees accountable, and maintains productivity and job site standards across multiple client locations.
Responsibilities
Perform hands-on industrial labor alongside crew members, including cleaning tanks and industrial equipment, grounds and facility cleanup.
Utilize hand tools, shovels, pressure washers, and industrial vacuum systems.
Assign daily tasks and work areas based on project needs.
Enforce schedules, job site rules, and safety procedures.
Monitor productivity and quality of work.
Provide direction, coaching, and on-the-job training.
Address performance issues, attendance problems, and disciplinary matters when necessary.
Serve as the primary point of contact between labor crew and management.
Ensure job sites are kept clean, organized, and safe.
Adapt crew size and priorities based on changing client demands.
Travel to and work at multiple client locations.
Essential Skills
General labor experience.
Construction experience.
Team leadership and communication skills.
Experience with production, hand tools, power tools, packing, carpentry, cleaning, and loading.

Work Environment
The work environment typically includes Monday through Friday shifts, with flexibility required. Hours range from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with 10-15 hours of overtime typical in a given week. Expect to work in hot, dirty, and physically demanding industrial environments, with 90% of the work performed outdoors. Client sites include steel manufacturing facilities, power plants (during shutdowns), and chemical plants. Be prepared for exposure to heat, weather conditions, industrial noise, and rugged terrain.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
