Position Summary:

The Hybrid Lead is responsible for overseeing and guiding a team specializing in electrical, industrial, and building maintenance operations. This role leads project execution, supports fabrication and installation activities, and collaborates closely with management to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and in accordance with applicable standards. The Hybrid Lead plays a key role in driving team performance, maintaining quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Lead electrical and hybrid projects, including planning, execution, and materials tracking.
  • Coordinate with management and stakeholders to establish installation timelines and project objectives.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust schedules, resources, and priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and risks to management in a timely manner.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and support Hybrid team members by providing guidance, training, and technical direction.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team environment.

Electrical Installation & Technical Support

  • Install electrical systems in accordance with drawings, specifications, and NEC code requirements.
  • Support fabrication, installation, and troubleshooting activities across projects.
  • Assist management with technical problem-solving and operational support as needed.

Continuous Improvement & Operational Support

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Ensure adherence to company standards, project specifications, and industry best practices.
  • Utilize systems and tools to track work orders, maintenance activities, and project performance.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a two-year technical or electrical degree (or equivalent experience) preferred.
  • Proven experience in electrical and industrial environments required.
  • Prior maintenance department and forklift experience preferred.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience required.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Proficiency in using multimeters and other electrical testing equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
  • Experience with hand and power tools.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with MRO/CMMS systems (e.g., Maximo) preferred.

  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to work in hot, cold, and inclement weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid drivers license required or must be obtained within the probationary period.
  • Required to supply a pre-determined set of personal hand tools (specialized tools provided).
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and wear required uniforms, including safety boots.
