We are looking for a Position Business title to join our team in one of todays most exciting technologies. This role will report to Hiring Manager title and based in City, State. This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week.

Essential Responsibilities:

Assist in system electrical layout
Specify improved electrical materials including wiring, connectors, PLCs etc.
Create FRACAS (Failure Reporting and Cost Analysis System) entries as needed
Rework wiring harnesses as technical changes arise
Create wiring lists, and convert to electrical drawings
Make technical changes to hardware layout and administer using the ECO process
Perform I/O testing on systems in order to ready for startup
Assist in system startup procedures
Bench test electrical devices such as power supplies, battery assemblies, and PCBs
Assist in troubleshooting gateway computers, and ancillary hardware
Make recommendations for electrical layout improvements
Assist in monitoring system performance at sub system level

Skills Required:

Must be able to work from PID and wiring schematics
Must work well in a cross functional group setting
Must be able to use electrical hand held devices such as DVM, and DMMs
Will demonstrate electrical safety practices including Lock-out-tag-out

Education and Experience:

High school diploma with training certification.
At least 7 years of related experience.

  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Trained and hands on Lock out tag out.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and controls issues in circuits containing transformers, disconnects, over current protection devices, and general control components (relays, timers, etc).
  • Must be able to follow directions and work with minimal supervision.
  • Instrumentation to include pneumatic, electronic and digital equipment.
  • fault analysis of hardwire relay logic, motor control circuits, motor power circuits (120V to 480V 3phase) and common utility / lighting circuits;
  • Installation of new control circuits, modification of existing instrument/electrical systems as requested, to include design, load and Implementation of new control logic
  • Must have the ability to interpret schematic drawings (to component level) of pneumatic loops, hardware relay logic diagrams, PLC control programs, motor control circuit diagrams, etc.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Must be able to lift 45 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in a fast pace manufacturing environment.
  • Must be flexible with changing shift or work schedule

Requirement,

  • High School graduate or GED equivalent demonstrate proficiency in both oral and written communication.
  • Minimum eight years experience.

The total compensation for this position includes standard company benefits and is based on various factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience

Salary Ranges: $32.51 - $46.79
