Our work includes full-site excavation, grading, trenching, and installation of water, sewer, storm, and dry utilities. Pay starts at $22/hr and goes up to $27.50/hr DOE.

What This Role Really Involves
This is a true excavation and utilities position, not a sit-in-the-machine-all-day job. Our operators run equipment, but they also jump out and help the crew when needed. Everyone on our team performs all trained tasks to keep production moving and maintain safety around utilities.

Duties & Responsibilities
Operate excavation equipment (excavators, skid steers, loaders) for trenching, grading, backfill, and site prep

Install and assist with water, sewer, storm, and dry utility work

Spot for operators and protect underground utilities (gas, power, communication, water)

Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance

Use hand tools and power tools as needed (shovels, levels, demo saws, drills, laser levels)

Assist with labor tasks including trench prep, pipe bedding, compaction, and cleanup

Complete timecards and equipment inspection logs accurately

Follow supervisor direction and communicate clearly with the crew

Requirements
Valid Drivers License REQUIRED

Experience in excavation and/or underground utilities

Ability to work safely around active utilities

Willingness to perform labor tasks as part of daily operations

Reliable transportation and strong work ethic

Compensation
$22.00$27.50/hr DOE

Fulltime, yearround work
