About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Supervisor for a well-established commercial HVAC/mechanical service company located in North Dallas, Texas.

This position is ideal for a strong commercial HVAC professional who has leadership experience and understands both sides of the service operation: equipment start-ups and ongoing commercial service/warranty work.

The Service Supervisor will help lead and manage two separate teams:

A Start-Up Team responsible for commercial HVAC equipment start-ups, commissioning support, punch work, quality checks, project turnover, and coordination with project/service leadership
A Service and Warranty Team responsible for commercial service calls, warranty work, troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance support, customer communication, and job follow-through

This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity for someone who is highly organized, technically strong, professional with customers and technicians, and capable of keeping multiple priorities moving in a busy commercial HVAC environment.

The companys office is located in North Dallas. Candidates must be able to report to the office daily. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

As the Commercial HVAC Service Supervisor, you will support service operations through field leadership, team supervision, technical guidance, scheduling support, and customer communication.

Key responsibilities include:

Supervise and support commercial HVAC service technicians
Manage and coordinate the daily needs of the HVAC start-up team
Manage and support the commercial service and warranty team
Assist with equipment start-ups, commissioning support, and project turnover
Support warranty calls, service repairs, troubleshooting, and customer issues
Help prioritize service calls, startup needs, manpower, and daily schedules
Provide technical support to technicians in the field
Monitor job progress, work quality, productivity, documentation, and completion
Communicate with customers regarding service issues, repair status, warranty items, and follow-up needs
Coordinate with internal leadership, project teams, service management, and administrative staff
Review work orders, service notes, startup documentation, and follow-up requirements
Coach, mentor, and help develop technicians
Promote safety, professionalism, accountability, and quality workmanship
Help maintain strong customer relationships and department standards

Qualifications

Qualified candidates should have:

Strong commercial HVAC service experience
Experience with commercial HVAC equipment start-ups strongly preferred
Experience with warranty, service, troubleshooting, and repair operations
Prior leadership experience as a Service Supervisor, Field Supervisor, Lead Technician, Senior Technician, Start-Up Supervisor, Warranty Supervisor, Service Manager, or similar role preferred
Ability to manage and support multiple technician teams
Strong troubleshooting knowledge of commercial HVAC systems
Professional communication skills with customers, technicians, and leadership
Strong organizational, scheduling, and problem-solving ability
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced service environment
Valid drivers license required
Ability to report to the North Dallas office daily
Dependable, accountable, professional, and team-focused work style

Preferred Commercial HVAC Experience

Experience with systems such as:

Rooftop units
Split systems
Package units
Controls
VRF/VRV systems
Chillers
Boilers
Commercial start-ups
Warranty service
Preventive maintenance
Commercial service accounts

Not every system listed is required, but strong commercial HVAC knowledge and leadership ability are important.

Compensation

This position offers a salary range of:

$98,000$102,000 per year

Compensation will be based on commercial HVAC experience, technical knowledge, startup experience, leadership ability, and overall fit for the role.
