Job Description
The director will lead and direct the Civil Engineering Technician Program under limited supervision, including establishing program goals, operational procedures, and long-range work plans; managing program resources; and ensuring alignment with institutional, industry, and accreditation requirements.

Salary Range:
$28.26 - 41.43/Hour
Minimum Qualifications

Two full-time years of verified related paid occupational experience in civil engineering and/or land surveying filed, performing duties as a technician, engineer or surveyor. A Bachelor's degree may substitute for one year of experience; an Associate's degree may substitute for six months of experience. Degree must be in civil engineering technology, land surveying technology, or civil engineering.

One year of this work experience shall be within the last five years The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in Civil Engineering within the last five years.

In accordance with the Minnesota State Vehicle Fleet Safety Program, employees driving on college/university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to Minnesota State's vehicle use criteria and consent to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Work Shift (Hours / Days of work)
This is a part-time (.5 FTE, 20 hours per week) position. Work hours are flexible within the department's standard operating hours of 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, Monday-Friday.
