POSITION SUMMARY

The essence of the painter's role is to paint all items going through the powder coat booth, while keeping a high-quality standard.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Able to stand and paint all parts for extended times throughout shift.
• Ability to recognize our paint color extensions.
• Good working knowledge of powder coat application.
• Able to operate all functions of the Nordson paint booth.

ATTRIBUTES

• Keep up in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate ideas and issues in a timely manner.
• Keep up with LSI's high-quality standards.
• Work in a team orientated manner.
• Change a color in one minute and 20 seconds.
• Paint manually at 10 feet per minute.
• Maintain 5S in department.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous powder coat experience needed.
• High School Degree or GED preferred
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to read prints.
