When you join us, youll be responsible for:

Preparing highway and roadway designs for WisDOT urban and rural projects, including interchanges, corridors, and major reconstruction efforts.

Developing detailed plans, specifications, quantities, cost estimates, and design documentation for state highway projects.

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and project managers to deliver complex highway design solutions.

Participating in quality control reviews and assist with project coordination throughout all design phases.

Provide mentorship to junior staff

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (Transportation focus preferred).

Professional Engineer (PE) license in Wisconsin

4-8 years of roadway/highway design experience, including WisDOT projects.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; experience with Bentley OpenRoads a plus.

Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

In-depth knowledge of WisDOT design standards, state highway specifications, and federal roadway guidelines.
