INFO SALARY: $200000 - $440000 LOCATION New York JOB TYPE Permanent Title: Software Engineer - Infrastructure Location: New York City (Onsite, 5 days/week) Compensation: $200,000 - $440,000 base + equity Overview A fastgrowing AI technology company operating at the frontier of largescale predictive systems is seeking an Infrastructure Software Engineer to help scale and optimise its core computational platforms. The company builds advanced simulation and intelligence products used by enterprise and researchdriven customers to make highimpact decisions in complex environments. This is a highownership role within a small, elite engineering team where performance, reliability, and speed of execution are critical. Engineers are expected to operate with autonomy, intellectual rigour, and a strong bias toward productionready systems. Responsibilities Design and build highperformance, lowlatency infrastructure systems that support largescale computation Scale and maintain reliable data ingestion pipelines across diverse data sources Identify and resolve architectural inefficiencies across distributed systems Improve system reliability, observability, and performance at the infrastructure layer Partner closely with engineers and researchers to productionise experimental systems Architect and implement infrastructure solutions that increase decisionmaking speed and system throughput MustHave Qualifications Strong experience solving engineering problems at the infrastructure or platform level Proven background building scalable systems used by large engineering teams Deep focus on performance, reliability, and developer experience Experience working with statically typed or algebraic type system languages Practical understanding of networking protocols and their limitations Experience transitioning research or experimental systems into production environments CONTACT Bekim Docaj Principal Recruitment Consultant
