Clean Room Laborer - Electronics Manufacturing Job Description This short-term role supports an electronics manufacturing facility by assisting with basic assembly and facility setup tasks within a clean room environment. You will perform general labor duties such as lifting, moving, and installing components while following detailed work instructions and maintaining strict cleanliness and safety standards. Responsibilities Work in a clean room environment to support electronics manufacturing and basic facility assembly. Lift, move, push, and pull materials, components, and equipment as directed. Install and place ceiling tiles and other facility components according to instructions. Use hand tools and small ladders safely to complete mechanical and assembly tasks. Assist with electronics assembly and handling of boards by following documented work instructions. Operate as a material handler, moving parts and materials to designated areas. Support mechanical and electrical-related tasks under supervision, ensuring proper handling of components. Follow all clean room protocols, including cleanliness, contamination control, and proper handling procedures. Adhere to safety guidelines and report any hazards or issues to the appropriate personnel. Complete assigned tasks within the expected 4-6 week project timeline and support team members as needed. Essential Skills Ability to work safely and effectively in a clean room environment within an electronics manufacturing setting. Capability to perform physical labor, including lifting, moving, pushing, and pulling materials and equipment. Experience using hand tools for basic mechanical and assembly tasks. Comfort using a small ladder for ceiling tile installation and similar duties. Ability to follow detailed work instructions accurately and consistently. Willingness to perform repetitive tasks and maintain focus in a structured environment. Reliability and punctuality to support a 4-6 week project assignment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in electronics assembly, mechanical work, or material handling. Familiarity with operating in aerospace-related or highly regulated manufacturing environments. Experience working with boards, electrical components, or production operators. The environment is clean, structured, and safety-focused, with clear procedures guiding daily tasks and interactions on the production floor. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of HUNTSVILLE, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.79 - $21.79/hr.
