Senior Project Estimator - Industrial Controls / Electrical (PLC, I&E) Humble, TX (Houston Area) Own the numbers behind industrial automation projects ACE Controls is hiring a Senior Project Estimator with experience in PLC systems, instrumentation, and electrical (I&E) projects to lead estimating for complex industrial work. If you have quoted industrial controls, automation, or electrical systems, this role gives you ownership from scope to final bid submission. What You Will Do Build estimates for industrial controls, PLC/DCS systems, and electrical installations Read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, one-lines, and control schematics Price labor, materials, instrumentation, and subcontractors Identify risk, gaps, and cost drivers Work with engineering, PMs, and vendors to develop accurate bids Own estimates through final proposal submission What You Need High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training preferred 5+ years of estimating experience in: Industrial controls / automation Electrical or I&E systems Strong knowledge of: PLC/DCS (Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider) Instrumentation and electrical systems Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines Proficiency in reading technical drawings independently Nice to Have Industrial or water/wastewater experience Field background (electrician, controls tech, commissioning) NEC / UL508A knowledge Why Apply High-impact role on complex automation projects Direct influence on project wins and profitability Strong technical team environment Find This Role If You Have Experience With Industrial Estimator, Electrical Estimator, Controls Estimator, PLC Estimator, Automation Estimator, I&E Estimator, Instrumentation Estimator, Houston Estimator Jobs Apply if you have estimated PLC, controls, or electrical systems.
