One of the following is required: Three years journeyman level experience in one or more of the building trades; A contractor's license; or 2 years supervisory or lead experience in a business or education setting. Licenses/Certificates/Special Requirements: A valid Class C California driver's license and the ability to maintain insurability under the District's Vehicle Insurance Policy. Knowledge of: Methods, materials and equipment used in the building maintenance trades, custodial, and grounds maintenance work; building construction practices and laws governing the construction, routine maintenance and repair of schools and public buildings; Applicable State, County and City laws, codes and regulations related to fire, safety and maintenance operations, including custodial, and grounds maintenance; Division of State Architect (DSA), state and local building codes; California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA) and public contract code laws and regulations for maintenance, public works and related projects Ability to: Plan, organize, coordinate, and schedule the custodial, grounds, and maintenance activities of District sites, buildings, grounds, and facilities, including duties related to building mechanical, electrical, plumbing, roofing, building envelope, finishes, low voltage and other related activities; Read and interpret building plans, blueprints and specifications; Plan, organize, schedule, assign and review building, custodial, and grounds maintenance and repair work and projects; Train, supervise and evaluate personnel In order to be considered, you must include all of the required documents.
