To see our fill list of Team Member Benefits please visit our career site: www.gotoworkhappy.com/benefits Job Description: Under the direction of the HVAC supervisor, shift supervisor and shift manager, the incumbent adjusts, repairs, troubleshoots and maintains heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Essential duties include, but are not limited to: Performs all preventive maintenance on systems and maintains applicable log books Conducts walk-through inspections; changes belts, filters, adjusts volume dampers, checks gauges, coils, drain lines, bleeds gas lines, resets compressors, check unit sensors, relocates ductwork and troubleshoots to locate sources and cause of malfunction Assists with estimating parts, supplies, equipment and labor hours needed to complete assigned repairs and monitors computer for malfunction Maintains quality of air, air flow and temperature at on and off-site facilities; adjusts valves to regulate temperature of lubrication oil and flow of water through system Records gauge readings, repairs completed and time lost due to inoperative equipment. Maintains technical logs and records all relevant data as appropriate Qualifications: High School diploma or technical certificate required as well as a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years' experience with commercial industrial equipment or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience Must be able to read, understand and interpret schematics, plans, diagrams and drawings Must be safety conscious Must be able to work as a team player to accomplish goals of the engineering department Must be able to read and write English and be able to effectively communicate with guests and co-workers Refrigerant recovery certification required Work Environment: Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in the back of house of the casino, which can be faced-paced with excessive noise. Also, there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise. Must be able to work in high/precarious places, be near fiberglass insulation and electrical current While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
