At Jacobs, you'll beavitalmember of our Highways team andwillhave theopportunityto support engineers on structural and highway design plans fortransportation projects.
As CAD Technician, you'llwork collaboratively on multi-discipline projects with other technicians and engineers in the roadway and structural groups. You'll apply your CAD software skills and knowledge of design/drafting standards, practices and techniques to develop structural design plans. Construction phase work assignments may include preparing sketches and reviewing shop drawings. You will be responsible for meeting deadlines and ensuring the plans adhere to all internal and client specific quality standards.

Here's what you'll need
Working knowledge of MicroStation or AutoCAD
Ability to produce accurate, neat and effective drawings
Familiarity with CAD standards
Ideally, You'll Have:
Technical degree in computer-aided design (CAD)
Experience as a highway CAD technician
Experience with Geopack, Inroads. OpenRoads, OpenBridge, Civil 3D
Experience working with working in a team environment with good communications skills
Experience with using MS Office tools (Word and Excel), MS Teams and Bluebeam

The base salary range for this position is $40,000.00 to $65,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
