Brady Corp is seeking a Project Manager who will support commercial operations for Brady's services business unit, including fielding orders, scheduling projects and invoicing for completed projects.

The Brady Safety Services team offers around 20 services focused on Lockout Tagout, Electrical Safety, and Confined Space Safety. The services take place on-site in our clients' facilities, and are performed by Brady Field Engineers.

This Project Manager will be instrumental in overseeing successful execution of projects and will work closely with Brady customers, Safety Services operations, and sales team members throughout the entire lifecycle of a Safety Service project.

  • The Project Manager is responsible for entry of purchase orders and the formal acknowledgment of the orders, as well as accurate entry of payment terms in SAP.

  • Establish a good working relationship with Channel Partners throughout the order receipt and billing aspects of projects.

  • Facilitate pre-job calls with customers upon receipt of customers' purchase order. These calls include a review of the project proposal, key contacts, site safety details, and ultimately scheduling the project.

  • The Project Manager is responsible for tracking weekly updates from the Field Engineers to ensure projects are on track and work with the Operations Manager as needed.

  • The Project Manager is responsible for project invoicing, which can occur at the end of projects, or in some instances progress billing at various stages of projects.

  • Create and manage project folders that will be provided to the engineer responsible for performing the project.

  • Additional duties will include:

  • Regular review of projects and expected billing with Operations Manager and Product Manager.

  • Coordination with the Brady software team

  • Cooperation with the Brady Finance team when questions arise, orders are placed on hold or special payment terms are required.

  • Communication with the Brady Sales team related to project scheduling and billing.

  • Actions in Salesforce.com to integrate project information into the original sales opportunity.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or 3-5 years in project management field.

  • General knowledge of SAP, Salesforce.com and competent skills in Microsoft Excel.

  • Monday.com or similar Project Management software would be a plus

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex project data to customers, internal operations, and the Brady sales team, both verbally and via written communication.

  • Extremely organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, with the willingness to assist teammates in reaching overall objectives.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, and creative problem-solving skills
