Title: CADD Technician

Location: The Woodlands, TX

Reports to: Project Manager

Position: Full time 6-month Seasonal position starts in June

Job Summary:

Prepare electronic drawings for heavy civil construction projects with an emphasis on geotechnical foundations.

Responsibilities of this Position:

• Operate Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley Microstation CAD systems in 2D and 3D
• Review customer-provided drawings
• Prepare take-offs for the estimating team
• Prepare shop drawings
• Apply provided scripts to generate panel and pile layout drawings
• Work with engineers to optimize designs prior and during execution
• Prepare 3D as-built shapes from measurement data
• Prepare as-built drawings according to contract specifications
• Convert drawings between different CAD systems

Education and Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley Microstation.
• Preference will be given to candidates with extensive experience working with a variety of CAD systems and interest in script development.
