Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent to join our construction management team. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing the daily operations of the structural steel errection projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Assistant Superintendent will collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to facilitate effective communication and coordination on-site.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day steel errection activities and operations.
- Create and continuously update construction project schedule
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project schedules.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards.
- Utilize software tools such as ProCore for project management and documentation.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of work.
- Facilitate communication between contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
- Participate in quality control inspections to ensure that work meets contract specifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a steel errection and management is required.
- Proficiency in developing project schedules and biweekly 3-week look aheads.
- Proficiency in using construction management software such as ProCore.
- Excellent blueprint reading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures within the construction industry.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a high level of organization.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
