Construction Superintendent

Job Description: As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing renovation projects from inception to completion. Your role will involve estimating project costs, coordinating with clients, and overseeing the execution of renovation plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, excellent project management skills, and proficiency in Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior/ exterior renovation projects.
• Coordinate and communicate with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Develop project schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Manage project budgets and track expenses.
• Oversee the execution of renovation plans, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Utilize Excel for budgeting, scheduling, and reporting.
• Obtains required permits and licenses
• Ensures specifications, code requirements, and other regulations are met per city
• Schedules necessary inspections

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in interior and exterior construction.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certification or degree in construction management or a related field is a plus.

• Pleasant and clearly understandable phone voice.

Experience: 2+ years of experience in a superintendent role within the construction industry, ideally with experience in interior/ exterior renovations.
