IT Infrastructure Project Manager

This role offers a unique opportunity to be on the front lines of building the IT backbone for critical data center infrastructure. You'll play a key role in shaping how IT systems are designed, deployed, and operated across high-demand environments. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support the deployment of IT infrastructure systems as part of data center construction projects, operating within the IT department.
• Review and interpret design drawings and construction documentation to ensure IT infrastructure requirements are accurately represented and executed.
• Collaborate closely with the Design and Construction (DNC) team to align IT system builds with construction timelines and standards.
• Coordinate the installation of structured cabling, network equipment, and other IT systems, ensuring quality and compliance with company specifications.
• Act as a liaison between IT, DNC, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution and integration.
• Support project planning, issue tracking, and risk management throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Maintaining and updating BOD (basis of design) documents, templates and standards used for IT construction.
• Manage and support telecom delivery for ISP connectivity to data center sites. Including planning, quoting, designing and turn up of fiber circuits for IT.
• Requires up to 25% travel to active data center construction sites to perform site inspections, supervise IT infrastructure deployments, and deliver on-site support when necessary.

Your Experience and Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a strong background in data center projects and technology deployment.
• Proficiency in reviewing and providing feedback on technical design drawings and build documentation.
• Solid understanding of structured cabling, telecom systems, and enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN).
• Experience with project coordination or management in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, particularly when working across IT, construction, and vendor teams.
• PMP certification or relevant project experience preferred.

• This role is based within a reasonable commuting distance of Mesa, AZ. This role could also be located in Sterling, VA.
• Base salary range is $125,000-$150,000, depending on experience.
