Key Responsibilities:** - **Operate Cranes:** Safely operate cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment as required.- **Operate Aerial Lift:** Operate and use lift to unwrap modules and change rigging.- **Operate Robot:** Use low speed, high torque remote controlled robot to navigate large, prefabricated modules into and out of the crane bay.- **Inspect Equipment:** Conduct pre-operation checks and routine maintenance to ensure cranes are in optimal working condition.- **Coordinate with Team:** Communicate effectively with other Crane Bay staff and signaling personnel to coordinate load movements.- **Safety Compliance:** Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with OSHA regulations.- **Record Keeping:** Maintain accurate records of crane usage, maintenance, and any incidents or malfunctions.- **Load Management:** Read and interpret load charts to determine load weights and sizes and select appropriate lifting gear.- **Emergency Response:** Respond appropriately to any unexpected or emergency situations during operations. **What qualifications will make you successful for this role?** - **Qualifications:** - **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of experience operating cranes in a manufacturing or industrial setting. - **Certification:** Valid crane operator certification is a plus. - **Skills:** Excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. - **Physical Requirements:** Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions. - **Communication:** Must speak and understand English. **Preferred Qualifications:** - **Technical Knowledge:** Familiarity with different types of cranes (e.g., overhead, gantry, etc.) and their specific operational requirements. - **Problem-Solving:** Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues with cranes. **Let us learn about you!
