General Description:**We are seeking a motivated entry-level welder to assist our welding team. In this role, you'll support experienced welders by preparing materials, operating basic tools, and learning various welding techniques on the job. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow in the metalworking trade. **Requirements:**Experience: 0--1 yearEducation: High school diploma or GED (preferred, not required)Certifications: None required (basic safety training a plus)Willingness to learn and follow directionsBasic mechanical skills; familiarity with hand tools, power tools and etc.Read a tape measurePhysical ability to lift heavy materials and work in varied conditions**Responsibilities:**Assist in the setup and teardown of welding equipmentClean, grind, and prepare metal surfacesMove materials and tools as directedLearn and observe welding safety protocolsSupport journeyman welders during fabricationOther job duties as assigned by the general manager.
